Register now for the LeadingAge North Carolina’s 60th anniversary Spring Conference trade show on May 10-13, 2016 at the Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort & Spa at Grand Dunes. We’re returning to Myrtle Beach to enjoy the beauty of the beach while we gather to learn from our peers from across the state.

Hotel Information

A block of rooms is being held for conference participants at the Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort & Spa at Grande Dunes. Please call the Myrtle Beach Marriott directly at 843-449-8880 and be sure to request the LeadingAge North Carolina conference room rate of $169. The deadline for hotel reservations is April 15, 2016.
You will also receive a discounted resort fee of $5.00 per night (current resort fee is $18.00). The discounted resort fee will be reflected upon check in. All reservations booked under this market code will enjoy the discounted resort fees of $5.00 plus taxes per night per room. Please be advised when booking reservations your guests will be made aware of our current resort fees of $18.00 plus taxes. Upon check in, the resort fee will be noted as $5.00 and will be charged accordingly.

Conference Attire

Attire for the conference is business casual and dressing in layers is recommended for varying temperatures in meeting rooms. Please inform moderators if adjustments need to be made to the sound, lighting, or temperature for your comfort.

Registration opens soon, and can be done online, by mail or by fax.

Cancellation Policy

Written requests for cancellation must be received at the LeadingAge North Carolina Office no later than April 22, 2016. All cancellations received prior to April 22, 2016 will be refunded less a $50.00 administrative fee. All cancellations received after April 22, 2016 will be non-refundable.

Continuing Education Credit

A maximum of 17.5 hours of continuing education credit for Nursing Home Administrators may be earned by attending preconference workshops and all sessions. Each educational session will be applied for separately and every session attended will be credited with CEUs. Credit is applied for through the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Nursing Home Administrators and the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation for Adult Care Licensure.

A total of 21.0 continuing professional education hours will be applied for through the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy. Certificates of Attendance and CEU Certificates will be mailed to attendees following the conference.

Participants must stay for the entire session to receive credit.
