How does your community provide spiritual support to residents? Does your community have a chaplain or other faith-based staff, and if so, for how many hours?

We have two full time chaplains (clergy) for 700 residents.

We do not have a chaplain on staff. We provide spiritual services for a fee weekly to Il and Health center residents..

We have a Chaplain. She works 32 hours per week.

We have 3 FTE chaplains and offer both Catholic and Protestant services to our residents and these services are often attended by local non-residents. We also have priests who live in our independent living who provide services, as well as local clergy who hold services on campus.

We have two full time chaplains…

One works with the Independent Residents and one with the Health Care residents..

We have a part-time Chaplain that works between 20 & 30 hours each week. Does a great job in visiting residents in the hospital, Hospice, other rehab facilities, etc. Provides devotional and worship service opportunities as well as funeral or memorial services. Provides some counseling or support services to our residents and staff members. He has created a good line of communications with residents, family members, and staff members. He has even visited our 3rd shift staff in an effort to build relationships with them.
I have found this position a very important component in meeting the needs of all our stakeholders!
