Does your community provide transportation to staff members during inclement weather (snow)? 

If so, would you share who provides the transportation and any other relevant details?

Inclement Weather

We provide quality care to its residents on a continuous, day-to-day basis and as such, always operates as normal business even during times of inclement weather. You are expected to report to work during periods of inclement weather, unless your supervisor had determined that you will not be needed. It is your responsibility to contact your supervisor at least 2 hours prior to the start of your scheduled shift in order to receive information regarding whether you will be excused from reporting for work due to inclement weather.

Employees who fail to report for scheduled work on a day of inclement weather will be charged with an occurrence. If Employees are unable to make it into work, we will make arrangements to provide a ride in. If an employee refuses to come in once a ride is offered, they will not use TOP time to fill in those hours. If an employee is late due to inclement weather, they can use TOP time to fill in for any late time.
