With any new construction effective in 2014, we began installing electric car charging stations. This is limited currently and we continue to evaluate how this is managed including the location of the stations and how we manage the electric costs. We currently do not charge for the electric, but this may change over time. Residents living in individual family homes pay the cost of installing the charging stations.

We have two residents that operate an electric car. One resident resides is in a cottage and one is in an apartment. In both instances the resident was responsible for installing the electric outlet. The residents used one of our approved electrical contractors to perform the install. There is also a $10/month utility fee for the energy used by the vehicle.
The resident that lives in the apartment installed the outlet in his assigned parking space in the parking garage
Hope this helps.
