We use Phillips Lifeline for our Independent Living Emergency Call system. Each resident wears a pendant, and as our system currently works, the entire campus…indoors and out…is covered.

To quote our Security chief, “On the whole, it has been a very good system. It is expensive to maintain, but it is reliable, and we have had very few problems.”

We have the “R Cube” and love it! It was installed by South Med and they did an excellent job. I am happy to discuss the intricacies of it with anyone and would even be happy for a group to come to CG to meet with our security manager to see how it works. Thanks

We use the Sara system. It is a wireless system and very reliable. It has SPS tracking and our residents can go anywhere on our campus inside or outside and if they need help they can push their pendent and the system can pinpoint them within a few feet. Please feel free to call if you have any questions.

We use the SARA system (Situational Awareness and Response Assistance)
It allows you to track call bell response times
Pendant alarms
Will call Leadership Staff in case of an emergency (ie. door alarm going off, possible fire )
It is my first experience in my 25 years of working in LTC for using this system and am very impressed at what it can do.

We use the SARA system and are pleased for the most part but I must say the pendants are less than desirable. When the button is pushed there is only a tiny red light that flashes quickly. The resident has no way to verify the pendant has been activated which is not good when they are in a stressful situation. With our technology today you would think that the pendant would vibrate, blink continuously or make a noise so they knew it was activated. This would also help with false alarms. I have brought this to the attention of Status Solutions and their basic response was that they do not manufacture the pendant and there was really nothing they could do. I find that very unfortunate when you consider the cost and purpose of the product.
