<description><![CDATA[Do you allow volunteers below age 18? &nbsp;If so do you impose guidelines regarding their activities on campus and whether an adult must be present? &nbsp;Has your policy been legally vetted? &nbsp;If you do&nbsp;not&nbsp;allow volunteers of that age, would you be willing to share what led to that decision?]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[We do allow student volunteers 13 years of age through college.  Each one is interviewed and maturity is an important factor.  Guidelines are established and orientation is required for all volunteers according to policy of our parent organization Alamance Regional Medical Center, now Cone Health. <br /> <br />Daily assignments are specific with approximate times included and some do not require adult supervision. ]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[We do accept volunteers at 16 years old. Student volunteers work directly under supervision of paid associates.  Some are assigned to work with the Healthcare Activities associates and some volunteer with our Events and Volunteers office as an assistant.  Our policies are approved by Human Resources and ultimately the Board of Directors.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[We do allow volunteers under the age of 18, we believe strongly that intergenerational interactions are important for the health and well-being of everyone involved. Our process for deciding this was not legally vetted. We just ran it by our Human Resources Director. We use our best judgement in regards to supervision, based on the maturity and experience of our young volunteers.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[Yes, we do in our health care Center with restrictions.  We have a consent form for parents or the school.  They need to be at least 16 and supervised by an activity staff member. ]]></description>
