What is the name of the software company you use for clinical and financial software and has your experience met your needs?

We use Point Click Care's EMR and Billing System, it is easy to learn and user friendly. I would prefer that they have more data export capabilities, it's either too much detail or too summarized but the software does get the job done and it pretty affordable.

We use Answers On Demand or AOD for EMR and billing. Also, if I can piggyback on your question with one of my own, I'd like to know who is responsible for data entry in your system. Do you have one person or are there several people entering different pieces into the system? Thanks.

We use answers on demand. While it is not perfect, we have not found a better replacement.

Croasdaile Village uses Answers on Demand (AOD). So far, we are extremely happy with it, and since we have had it for about 17 years, I guess we will stick with it.

We are in the process of switching to AOD ( Answers On Demand). We were using Matrix and were not satisfied with many aspects of it.

We use AOD…. Have used the billing side for years with little difficulty. In integrating EMR have found the software lacks smooth integration with other software (for example Casamba with therapy vendor) in addition they charge a high fee for the licensing to use the integration bridge (in this case over $20k). also the software is not intuitive or user friendly which creates difficulties in front end user use. Its doable but not ideal and not cost effective.

We use HealthMedx for clinical/billing. It is a strong clinical software but has some limitations on the billing side. Because it is not a G/L software, it is very difficult to research items that interfaced over to a particular G/L account. The cash receipt entry is very cumbersome and easy to make mistakes. And financial reporting leaves a lot to be desired. It is a very flexible software. The HealthMedx implementation and ongoing support is insufficient as well. We have contracted with an outside provider (Provinet) for ongoing support. I would recommend using Provinet for implementation, hosting and support of the product.

We use MAS90 for general ledger. I do not recommend this product for multi-sites at all. We are in fact changing to Blackbaud but don’t know enough about it at this point to comment.

We use American Data for our EMR, and NTT for our billing system. Operations recently did a search to see if there was a better vendor for our EMR, and is sticking with American Data. Unfortunately the tow systems do not talk with each other, which is a downfall of the process...
