We don’t have any generators in the independent residential buildings, individual homes, or common area spaces.

Do you have generators connected to any of your independent living residential units? – Yes in 25 newest cottages, no other outside units have generators, Apt building has hallway lighting but no power in units themselves

If so, are all units covered? Apartments and individual housing units? See above

For apartment buildings: are any services within the individual apartment connected to the generator? If so, which services? Not in individual apts, hallway lighting only

For individual homes or villas: Which services within the home are connected to the generator? For the 25 units with generators all services
Any common areas connected to the generator? If so, what is powered in those common areas by the generator? Yes, kitchen, elevators, common area lighting, power in administrative area, IT network, All of health care is on generator power

Any experiences you’d like to share that have driven your decisions?

We are in process of placing large generators to run our 3 story apartment buildings

If so, are all units covered? Apartments and individual housing units?
We are installing for 3 story apartments due to concerns when the elevators do not work when power is lost. We have a proposal to cover individual homes, but do not have capital funds to do individual generators per each home.

For apartment buildings: are any services within the individual apartment connected to the generator? If so, which services?
Per the proposal, everything within the apartment should run on generator power when power is lost. Automatic transfer (like in SNF) when power lost.

For individual homes or villas: Which services within the home are connected to the generator? N/A as no generator for homes
Any common areas connected to the generator? If so, what is powered in those common areas by the generator?
Clubhouse is covered by generator and everything is powered there.

Any experiences you’d like to share that have driven your decisions?
We had a resident try to go down dark stairwell when power was loss. She fell, and sustained a serious injury. This prompted a decision that 3 story apartment buildings needed a permanent solution.
