The revised Quality Measures have generated confusion as facilities try to figure out what impacts which measureand what set of measures are being reported to the public versus the CASPER reports. This session will focus onthe measures-what they are, the definitions and risk factors and how the facility can use the information to identifyroot causes of care problems, measure goals, reduce risk of further adverse events, and fulfill a portion of thequality pledges and initiatives that continue to play a huge part in the success of each facility.
