The 2013 LeadingAge North Carolina Annual Awards Program honors excellence in service to the elderly. The Awards Program encourages members to nominate individuals and/or facilities that enhance the field of aging services by their involvement, innovation, leadership or advocacy, as well as personal and organizational generosity.

All award winners will receive recognition at either the LeadingAge North Carolina Annual Meeting at The Grove Park Inn Resort, Asheville, NC to be held May 13 – 16, 2013, or at their individual facility.

Procedure

Each award is listed separately in this brochure with the criteria that must be addressed in the nomination of an individual or facility.

• Nominations must be postmarked or faxed by March 8, 2013.
  
  
• Nominations should be no more than two (2) typed pages.
  
  
• The Committee recognizes that the Association may not be fully aware of the achievements of all individuals and facilities within the Association and thereby encourages self-nomination.
  
  
• The selection of award winners is based on recommendations of LeadingAge North Carolina’s
  Awards Committee.
